A certified teachers' training program for the emergency management of type 1 diabetes children in schools and colleges was conducted at Olympia Chambers. Classes by Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev, Dr.Arun Shankar, Dr.Remya Aryad, psychological issues by Ms.Sunitha Jothydev, diet session by Ms. Geethu Sanal, insulin pump session by Dr.Arun Shankar, Glucometer training by Ms. Remya Iyer, insulin injection techniques by Ms.Gopika Krishnan followed. Teachers also shared their experiences and also requested similar training classes in future.
