It was another innovative scientific initiative by Jothydev’s Diabetes Research Center when Jothydev’s Diabetes Center Professional Education Forum (JPEF) was inaugurated by Dr. Madhusoodanan at Residency Towers on 24 Feb 2012.
JPEF is a humble endeavor to bring the health care professionals and staff involved in diabetes care under one roof: pharmacists, nurses, dietitians,educators etc.,

The inaugural CME was marked by lecture by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev who elaborated on the ADA 2012 Clinical Practice Guidelines. Dr. Arun Shankar, (Consultant, JDC) lectured on ‘Safety & Efficacy of Vildagliptin: JDC Experience’ where the JDC compiled data on safety and efficacy of Vildagliptin was presented.

An Overview of the JDC research activities and formal introduction on JPEF was provided by Gopika Krishnan,Operations Head: Research, JDC.

Over 90 participants were provided CME certificates. Ms. Sunitha Jothydev, JDC Executive Director, coordinated the Inaugural CME of JPEF.
