Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev gave a one hour lecture on 'ADA 2011: Highlights' for the doctors at the Taj Vivanta, Vazhutacaud,Trivandrum, updating on the prestigious Banting Lecture at the ADA 2011 and cutting the edge research in diabetes. Dr. Jothydev briefed on the newer drugs facing the clinical trials and the promising research on closing the loop using the artificial pancreas. The crowd of doctors who attended the session had questions on the islet cell transplantation and Dr. Jothydev answered questions on the unscientific use of ayurvedic medicines which faced no clinical trials for diabetes. The CME was chaired by Dr.Madhusoodanan.
