Diabscreen Kerala free diabetes screening, education and treatment camp was conducted at Kadappakkada Sports Club and Reading Room. Camp was inaugurated by Balagopal, Member of Parliament. Thengamam Balakrishnan, presided. They appreciated the noble and sustained efforts of Kesavadev trust(formed in the memory of late Kesavadev,the great social reformist) in educating the masses on the devastating disease,diabetes. Dr.Jothydev was provided with a warm welcome by the club officials. Aneesh, Head of Projects, Kesavadev Trust organised the event in association with Club officials: K.P.Rajendran Nair ( Executive Member), Thengamam Balakrishnan (President). Shyam Kumar (Treasurer), K.P.Nandakumar -Arts Club Convener,M.R Jayageetha- Snehitha (Vanitha Vedhi), Secretary M.P.Rajagopal. Jayasreelally, DTMS officer, JDC is seen coordinating the procedures.More than 150 subjects were screened. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev and Geethu Sanal gave interactive lectures and also gave personal advises to patients.
