First ever meeting of AIAARO(All India Association for Advancing Research in Obesity) Kerala Chapter, to fight obesity was held at Hotel Radisson Blu, Kochi on 5th May 2019. Doctors from various specialties, dietitians and allied professionals attended the one day conference. Shri.V D Satheesan MLA inaugurated the conference. Conference Chair Dr.Jayalekshmi Kurup, Secretary Jothydev Kesavadev, National Secretary, Shilpa Joshi, Chapter Secretary Geethu Sanal, Dr.Rohit Warrier(Convenor) organised the conference. Dr.Shashank Joshi and Dr.Banshi Saboo addressed the gathering via video.
