Jothydev�s Diabetes Research Center, in association with P. Kesavadev Trust, organized a Patient Education Program on 29th January at P. Kesavadev Hall. This was an awareness program on type 2 diabetes. The welcome speech was offered by Mr. Jayapalan Nair, Director, JDC. The session started with talk by Ms. Viji, dietician, JDC on �diet for type 2 diabetes patients�. Ms. Akhila, Nurse and Ms. Aneesa, diabetes educator, JDC took class on Insulin, Glucometer and Insulin pump. Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev interacted with the patients and offered talk on recent advancements like �Time in Range�. Ms. Gopika Krishnan talked on research in JDC. Dr. Arun Shankar also interacted with the patients and cleared their doubts on various aspects of type 2 diabetes.
