On behalf of World Diabetes Day, the WDD projects were inaugurated on 14 November 2021, at Kesavadev Hall, Trivandrum. The program was set off by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev, with a brief welcome. The program was felicitated by Mr. Omana Kuttan, Type-1 Diabetes Welfare Society Coordinator, Trivandrum. Mr. Omar Sherief, Internal Representative of Life for a child project, spoke about Diabetes day and diabetes management in children. In addition, Ms. Indu Thampy- Cine Artist, Miss Kerala 2010 shared her experience with diabetes. Dr. Arun Shankar, Ms. Gopika Krishnan, and Ms. Geethu Sanal lead the diabetes awareness program. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Sunitha Jothydev, Executive Director, JDC. Around 100 people participated.
