Jothydevs Diabetes Research Centre and Kesavadev Trust and organized a two-day insulin training workshop - iSchool Series 6, virtually on 18-19 November 2021. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev, Dr.Arun Shankar, Dr.Asha Ashik, Ms.Gopika Krishnan, Ms.Geethu Sanal, Dr.Ashwin David Ashok, Ms.Akhila Manoj and Dr.Yaseen Unes discussed diverse topics related to insulin, including, an overview of diabetes management and insulin therapy, insulin regimens, types, benefits and challenges, insulin initiation, titration and intensification, basics of nutrition in diabetes, insulin therapy with OHA, insulin storage, injection and techniques, dos and don'ts, newer technologies for insulin delivery, insulin delivery devices and case studies and discussion. This was followed by active interactions. 50 doctors from across the state participated in the two-day virtual event.
