- iSchool: The Insulin Training Workshop series 7
December 3-4, 2021
Jothydev�s Diabetes Research Centre, Kesavadev Trust organized a two-day insulin training workshop � iSchool series 7, virtually on 3-4th December 2021. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev, Dr. Arun Shankar, Dr. Asha Ashik, Ms. Gopika Krishnan, Ms. Geethu Sanal, and Dr. Yaseen Unes discussed diverse topics related to insulin, including, an overview of diabetes management and insulin therapy, insulin regimens, types, benefits and challenges, insulin initiation, titration and intensification, basics of nutrition in diabetes, insulin therapy with OHA, insulin storage, injection and techniques, dos and don�ts, newer technologies for insulin delivery, live demonstration insulin delivery devices, case studies and discussion. This was followed by active interactions by many doctors from across the state, participated in the two-day virtual event.
