Diabscreen Kerala is a major diabetes awareness project of P.Kesavadev Trust. The Diabscreen Kerala team, headed by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev, conducts diabetes awareness, prevention, and treatment programs at various geographical locations in collaboration with regional organizations.

The 18th P. Kesavadev Awards have been presented to renowned literary critic, researcher and journalist Dr.P.K. Rajasekharan, Times of India Deputy Editor, Ms. Preetu Nair, and Kerala Association of Dallas (KAD). Shri.V. Sivankutty, Minister of Education and Labour, presented the awards, Literary Award to Dr.P.K. Rajasekharan, Diabscreen Kerala award to Ms. Preetu Nair and Malayalam award to Kerala Association of Dallas (KAD), at the award ceremony in Hotel Hilton Garden Inn, Trivandrum, Kerala, organized by the P. Kesavadev Trust, which instituted the awards in the name of the yesteryear writer-activist to acknowledge seminal contributions in the field of literature, public health education and for the organization that promotes Malayalam language outside Kerala. Dr.Hima Raveendranath received the award on behalf of the Association. The Trust also extended an award and cash prize to Baby. Devahara, who presented the story Odayil Ninnu by P.Kesavadev in a different creative way. Smt.Seethalekshmi Dev, chairperson of P. Kesavadev Trust, chaired the event. Mr.Rathindarn, Library Council Member of Kerala, in his keynote address highlighted the values of humanity upheld by P.Kesavadev in his writings. Dr.George Onakoor, Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev and Mr.Harish Sathya spoke at the event. Krishnadev Jothydev welcomed the gathering and Dr. Arun Shankar concluded the program with a vote of thanks.
