A group education event was conducted at JDC, Trivandrum, on behalf of world diabetes month. The public was invited to attend the event. Ms.Geethu Sanal, Chief Dietitian, JDC, talked about �Healthy Dietary Practices�. Dr.Junaid Naina, RSSDI Fellow, JDC, talked on �Routine Tests Done in Diabetes Care�. Ms.Gopika Beena Chandran, Clinical trials head, JDC, spoke and demonstrated on the topic, �Self-Monitoring of Blood Glucose�. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev gave the audience education on diabetes management and also talked about the latest technologies in diabetes management. Dr.Shahana Yasmin talked about Diabetes foot care.
