The eleventh session of the DREAMS Diabetes Academy was held on December 24, 2024, via the DREAMS Academy web portal. Ms. Geethu Sanal, Chief Dietician at Jothydev’s Diabetes Research Centre, delivered a lecture on "Hypoglycemia Management". Ms. Geethu provided a detailed session on how to manage hypoglycemic episodes and what all measures are to be taken to avoid hypoglycemia. She emphasized the importance of regular monitoring of blood glucose to avoid hypoglycemic events. The session was attended by 26 participants and their parents. It concluded with a lively Q&A session, allowing attendees to clarify their queries and enhance their understanding of Hypoglycemia and ill effects of the same.
