At the AIAARO Kerala Chapter Convention 2025, leading experts came together to challenge myths and promote evidence-based approaches in obesity care. Dr. Asha Ashik shed light on evolving perspectives with her talk on the New Definition of Clinical Obesity based on Lancet Commission highlights. Dr. Arun Shankar joined a panel discussion addressing Myths, Miracles, and Misinformation: The Wellness Trap in Obesity Care. A dynamic talk show titled Move It or Lose It?-What Really Works for Obesity was staged by Dr. Ashwin David Ashok and Ms. Geethu Sanal, who also spoke on Personalized Nutrition in Obesity as part of the Smart Nutrition for Sustainable Weight Loss symposium.
