- Childhood Obesity Awareness Program in collaboration with AIAARO Kerala chapter at St.Mary's Residential Centre School, Mudavanmugal

Jothydev's Diabetes and Research Centre, in collaboration with AIAARO, organized a Childhood Obesity Awareness Program at St. Mary's Residential Centre School to promote nutrition and wellness among students. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Benny V. P. Vice President of AIAARO Kerala Chapter and Head of the Department of Community Medicine at Sree Gokulam Medical College.
An engaging awareness session titled Teaching Taste: Nutrition Education for Long-Term Healthy Habits†was delivered by Ms. Geethu Sanal, Treasurer of AIAARO Kerala Chapter. The event featured an interactive quiz with prizes for students, followed by a yoga session titled Building Healthy Futures Through Yogaâ€, led by Ms. Anu Bhagavathy R, Yoga Therapist. Ms. Gopika Krishnan, Joint Secretary of AIAARO Kerala Chapter, also extended her support throughout the program.
The initiative effectively raised awareness among children and teachers about the critical role of nutrition, physical activity, and holistic wellness in preventing childhood obesity.
