- AIAARO Kerala & Jothydev’s Diabetes Centre Promote Holistic Obesity Management

The AIAARO Kerala Chapter, in collaboration with Jothydev’s Diabetes & Research Centre, conducted an impactful online programme titled "Holistic Approaches to Obesity Management: Mind, Body & Nutrition" on 23rd September 2025. The session opened with an inaugural address by Dr. Benny PV, followed by an introduction by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev. The session featured expert talks by Dr. Arun B Nair, Ms. Hema Shanker, and Ms. Shiny Surendran, moderated by Dr. Purvi Chawla and Ms. Geethu Sanal. A lively panel discussion and Q&A followed, with the vote of thanks by Dr. Anita Nambiar. The programme emphasized that sustainable obesity care requires an integrated approach combining mental health, nutrition, and physical activity.
