At ATTD-ASIA 2025, held in Singapore, Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev delivered a lecture titled “Breaking the Link: Obesity, Liver Disease, and New Treatment Horizons” and participated in a panel discussion on “Tomorrow’s Diabetes Clinics.” His contributions highlighted advances in metabolic therapeutics, evolving insights into obesity–liver interactions, and the future of diabetes care shaped by personalised approaches, CGM-guided decision-making, and AI-enabled telemedicine.
The scientific programme also featured two short oral presentations: “Telemedicine-Assisted Titration of Oral Semaglutide and Its Impact on HbA1c, Body Weight, and Drug Adherence,” presented by Dr. Arun Shankar, and “Telemedicine with Conventional Care Improves Clinical Outcomes in Type 2 Diabetes: A Cross-Sectional Study,” presented by Anjana Basanth. In addition, an e-poster showcased a retrospective, real-world study from India on the clinical impact of continuous glucose monitoring for up to 12 months in individuals with type 2 diabetes.
