Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev delivered a lecture on "Staying Healthy in Old Age" at the Senior Citizens Service Council at the KGOF Hall. Oottukuzhi, Trivandrum. The concept of biological age and chronological age and the importance of preventive geriatrics were well received by the audience. The incredible efforts made by Dr. Jothydev way back in 1999-2001 for setting up a department for Geriatrics and the social programs for the elderly were highly appreciated by the senior citizens. The association also requested Dr. Jothydev to actively be part of the social programs for the elderly. The photo albums depicting his experience at old age homes and nursing homes were token of his deep rooted interest in Geriatrics and were well taken.Question answer session followed the lecture.
