Diabscreen Kerala, Free diabetes awareness, education and detection camp was organised by P. Kesavadev Trust in conjunction with Mother Charitable Trust at Shalimar Auditorium, Nilamel on 28th April 2012. The team lead by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev performed laboratory investigations and anthropometric measurements. Dr.S.Sajeev introduced Dr. Jothydev to the crowd. Dr.Jothydev lectured for one hour on the importance of treating diabetes and preventing complications. The lecture was followed by insulin Injection and Glucometer demonstration by Dr. Jothydev and Ms.Gopika Krishnan, Operations Head, Research where the common errors were rectified. Free consultation and medicines were provided. Ms. Sunitha Jothydev, Director, JDC and KDC Group of Institutions, supervised the proceedings of the camp.
