Ms.Sunitha Jothydev lectured at the Workshop for Diabetes Educators on'Psychological Aspects of Diabetes Management' at the 5th World Congress of DiabetesIndia at Le Meridien Convention Centre(Manappuram Hall 1) at Kochi on 20th April. She emphasized on intervening diabetes related psychological issues at the key point to avoid drugs for depression and related issues. The lecture also dealt with common psychological issues faced by diabetes patients of long duration-'diabetes burnout'. The session was moderated by Ms.Shilpa Joshi(Mumbai) and chaired by G.Vijayakumar(Pandalam).
