More than 70 patients and their caregivers on insulin pump participated in the Insulin Pump patient education program in JDC1, Trivandrum on 31 July 2013. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev, Dr.Arun Shankar, Ms.Geethu Sanal, Mr.Prasad, device technician, dietitians, pharmacist, psychologist interacted with the patients. Dr.Karthik Rao, MD and Dr.Nidhi Takkar, MD, Residents fellows, KMC Manipal who were on a one week training program in JDC also interacted with the patients.
