A double decker bus ride - the Sweet Journey organised by P.Kesavadev Trust and Jothydev's Diabetes Research Centre as part of the World Diabetes Month events was inaugurated by Hon.Kerala Minister for Health Shri.V.S. Sivakumar. The double decker bus endorsing messages of diabetes awareness and prevention gave passengers free ride through the city with free awareness sessions by a multidisciplinary team of doctors, dieticians, diabetes educators etc. The bus also had facilities for free blood tests for the public.The bus travelled across the streets of Trivandrum for 2 days and attracted huge crowds and was well accepted.
