10th Kesavadev Awards were presented to the award winners at Mascot Hotel on 4th August 2014 during the birth anniversary celebrations of late P.Kesavadev by Hon. Chief Minister of Kerala Shri. Oommen Chandy in an auspicious function. Kesavadev Awards were first instituted in memory of late P.Kesavadev in 2004. The Kesavadev Literary Award was bestowed to Shri.Perumbadavam Sreedharan for his priceless contributions to the field of literature. Diabscreen Kesavadev Award was handed over to Dr.K.R.SunilKumar who created a musical dance drama �Venpiravukal� to create awareness on dengue fever among public. He is the physician of Thekkinkara Primary Health Centre, Thrissur. Dr.George Onakkoor, Shri Peethambarakurup, Shri Vijayakrishnan, Dr.N.Ahmed Pillai also offered felicitations. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev spoke a few words in memory of his loving father P.Kesavadev. Smt. Seethalekshmy Dev was the chairperson of the function. Ms. Sunitha Jothydev offered vote of thanks.
