Free Diabscreen Kerala Camp was organized by P. Kesavadev Trust in association with Mathrubhumi and DiabetesIndia as part of World Diabetes Month. The camp was inaugurated by renowned oncologist and orator Dr. M.V. Pillai. The camp saw a massive participation of more than 150 patients. Free anthropometric measurements and blood tests were performed. Diabetes education by Chief Dietitian Geethu Sanal, injection technique demonstration by Dr. Ashwin David, diabetes awareness lectures by Dr. Arun Shankar and Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev was followed by dental consultation by Dr. Sandeep and Ophthalmology consultation by Dr. Ambika Shetty. Free consultation by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev, Dr. Arun Shankar and Dr. Ashwin David was followed by free medication and advises. JDC diabetes team actively participated in the camp. Ms. Sunitha Jothydev, Director JDC conducted the camp and offered vote of thanks. Hari Prasad coordinated the camp.
