JPEF Mini CME organized by JPEF marked the launch of Lyxumia(Lixisenatide), the fourth GLP-1 RA in India at Hotel Hilton Garden Inn on 21st May 2016. Dr. Neeta Deshpande, Consultant Diabetologist, Belgaum Diabetes Centre and Children�s Diabetes Centre, Belgaum was the guest speaker. Dr. Mathew John, Chief Endocrinologist, Providence Endocrine and Diabetes Specialty Centre, Trivandrum lectured on �The cardio safety aspects of GLP-1�. Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev lectured on �A positive addition for Optimization: Lyxumia with basal insulin�. The sessions were chaired by Dr. Arun Shankar Unit Head, JDC Trivandrum. More than 80 doctors attended and interacted.
