Konglam Residence Association in associated with P. Kesavadev Trust conducted diabetes screening and awareness at Pourasamithi Hall. The camp was inaugurated by B. Vijayakumar, MLA. Chairperson G Mohanan Nair (Patron, Kongalam Citizens Club). C.Biju did the welcome speech and S. Shaji vote of thanks. K. Rajasekharan, Mudavanmugal Ward Councilor offered felicitations. Dr Jothydev Kesavadev, Sunitha Jothydev, Dr Devin Prabhakar, Sreejith Pongumoodu, Dr Abhilash.V.Jacob, Pradeep Kannamoola, Jayasreelally participated in the camp. Though Kongalam is a semi rural part in Trivandrum as high as 66.2% of the population screened by us had fasting cholesterol values above 200mg%. Dr Jothydev and Team also visited near by houses were there where elderly diabetes patients with disabilities.
