IMA conducted a mega equipments exhibition cum CME programme for the doctors and the public at Sreemoolam Club, Trivandrum. Dr Jothydev was invited by Dr Ayyappan Nair ( The famous Orthopedic Surgeon) the organizing secretary of IMA-PEPS MEDI EXPO 2006 to deliver lectures on the insulin pump. Dr Jothydev: The patient has to change the infusion set once in every 3 days. In Indian currency it will cost approximately Rs.5000 per month. This is extremely cheap when compared to the cost in other parts of the world.
