One question and answer
Qn: After starting the pump can a patient discontinue it in between?
Jothydev: Sure. External insulin pumps are not permanent devices fitted on to the body. If due to any reason patient cannot use if for a few days they can be back to their ordinary insulin shots. However, tight control of blood sugar may be lost during this period.
Minimed Medtronic also had a store at the exhibition hall, where all devices were displayed.
