A patient education program was organized at P. Kesavadev Hall, at Jothydev’s Diabetes Research Centre (JDC), Trivandrum. 25 people with diabetes, who are under the care of JDC participated in the program. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev spoke on the latest advancements in diabetes care, and enforced participants about the importance of using technologies in diabetes care. Ms.Geethu Sanal (Chief Dietician, JDC) spoke on ‘MNT in people with diabetes’. Ms.Gopika Krishnan (Director, Academics and Research) conducted a demo session on warm up and weight training. She also spoke about JDC and its activities. Ms.Gopika Beena Chandran (Lead, Department of Clinical Trials) spoke about the current clinical trials at JDC. Ms.Sunitha Jothydev (Executive director, JDC) gave concluding remarks and vote of thanks.
