On World Diabetes Day, Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev shared a message highlighting the importance of early diagnosis, structured monitoring, and access to advanced therapies to prevent complications and improve long-term outcomes for individuals living with diabetes. He also reflected on 25 years of continuous community engagement, recognizing the journey from 2000 to 2025, during which Jothydev’s Diabetes Research Center has organized impactful initiatives including free diabetes screening camps, public monument blue-lighting, patient education programs, webinars, and awareness campaigns, strengthening public understanding and proactive diabetes management. Jothydev’s Diabetes Research Center, Thiruvananthapuram, an International Diabetes Federation (IDF) Centre of Excellence in Diabetes Care, continues to lead in integrated, evidence-based diabetes management through clinical innovation, research, technology-enabled care, and patient empowerment. This message reinforces JDC’s enduring commitment to advancing diabetes awareness and improving the quality of life for people living with diabetes across Kerala and beyond.
