Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev and colleagues have published a new paper in Diabetes Research and Clinical Practice (online, December 2025) titled “Utility of Continuous Glucose Monitoring in People with Type 2 Diabetes on Insulin-Based Regimens – A Case Series and Expert Opinion.” The article presents real-world evidence from five anonymized cases, illustrating how CGM enables individualized insulin titration, improves detection of glycaemic excursions, and supports better treatment adherence. The paper also outlines 10 expert clinical practice points, reinforcing the expanding role of CGM in personalized, precision-driven care for insulin-treated type 2 diabetes.
