Diabscreen Kerala is a major diabetes awareness project of P.Kesavadev Trust. The Diabscreen Kerala team, headed by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev, conducts diabetes awareness, prevention, and treatment programs at various geographical locations in collaboration with regional organizations.

Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev delivered an expert lecture on Ozempic (semaglutide), highlighting its role as a landmark, evidence-based therapy in metabolic care. He outlined its proven benefits in diabetes and obesity management, along with statistically significant reductions in major cardiovascular events and improvements in renal outcomes. The lecture also emphasized emerging evidence supporting its benefits in fatty liver disease (MASLD), osteoarthritis-related knee pain, sleep apnea, and infertility, underscoring the expanding therapeutic potential of this once-weekly injectable.
