A one day workshop on the 'Ethics and Basics of Clinical Trials' was conducted by Jothydev's Diabetes Research Centre, with an aim to instil interest about the Good Clinical Practices to be followed in consistence with the Indian regulations and guidelines. Gopikakrishnan Gopalakrishnan(JDC, RU) organised the one day workshop.

Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev, Dr. Padmaja.V (Professor, College of Pharmaceutical Sciences,Medical College, Trivandrum), Dr. Arun Shankar, Gopikakrishnan G, Jayapalan A Nair etc.lectured on various guidelines and regulations. Distinguished guests also attended the session. Sunitha Jothydev gave away the certificates.
