Diabscreen Kerala is a major diabetes awareness project of P.Kesavadev Trust. The Diabscreen Kerala team, headed by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev, conducts diabetes awareness, prevention, and treatment programs at various geographical locations in collaboration with regional organizations.

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev was the Chief Guest in the Health Awareness Day meeting organized by the CSIRNIIST pensioners welfare association on April 25, 2013, at CSIR-NIIST, Pappanamcode. He also lectured for 30 minutes on diabetes and prevention of complications. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), one of the pioneering R&D Institutions of India working in the area of Science and Technology. National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST) formerly known as Regional Research Laboratory, Trivandrum (RRL-T) is one among the 37 CSIR laboratories. CSIR-NIIST Pensioners welfare Association, at Trivandrum was formed about six years back and has over 100 members out of over 250 CSIR pensioners residing in Kerala. The function was attended by over 150 persons including pensioners and their family members and CSIR-NIIST staff.B.C.Pai, President, CSIR-NIIST (PWA) gave the welcome address. Dr. Sathi Chandrasekar introduced the guests on daiz. The session was chaired by Dr. Ajaya Gosh.Other dignitaries included Shri. G.V.Pillai and Shri. T.V.Kunju. Dr Justine Padamadan, Senior Psychologist of Jubilee Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram also lectured.
