Diabscreen Kerala free diabetes awareness, detection and treatment camp was held at Panmana Aashramam, Kollam in conjunction with Kumbalalth Sankhupillai commemorative Meeting on May 7, 2013.. Blood sugar, cholesterol and anthropometric measurements were carried out free of cost at the camp. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev spoke on the importance of controlling blood glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol for achieving the targets of therapy. The insulin injection technigues and glucometer training was provided by Gopika Krishnan. Eminent leaders in political and social front participated in the commemorative meeting. he patients availed free medical advice and medicines from the diabetes team headed by Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev.
