Kesavadev Awards 2014 was announced by P.Kesavadev Trust Award Committee on 4th July 2014 at Press Club, Trivandrum. The 10th Kesavadev Awards were first instituted in memory of late P.Kesavadev in 2004. The Kesavadev Literary Award will be bestowed to Shri.Perumbadavam Sreedharan for his priceless contributions to the field of literature.The award jury was headed by Dr.George Onakkoor and comprised Smt.Seethalekshmy Dev, Deshamangalam Ramakrishnan and Vijayakrishnan. Diabscreen Kesavadev Award goes to Dr.K.R.SunilKumar who created a musical dance drama �Venpiravukal� to create awareness on dengue fever among public. He is the physician of Thekkinkara Primary Health Centre, Thrissur. The jury members were Dr.N.Ahmed Pillai, Dr.P.G.Balagopal and Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev. The awards will be distributed during the birth anniversary celebrations of P.Kesavadev on 4th August 2014 at Macot Hotel, Trivandrum.
