In observance of World Diabetes Day 2024, Jothydev's Diabetes Research Centre (JDC) joined hands with the Poojappura Unni Nagar Residents’ Association (PURA) to conduct an awareness session on diabetes prevention. The session was led by Ms. Sunitha Jothydev (Executive Director, JDC), Dr. Arun Shankar (Medical Director, JDC), Dr. Krishnadev (Medical Officer, JDC), and Dr. Junaid Naina (Medical Officer, JDC). The event was graced by the presence of PURA office bearers, including Adv. K. Viswambharan (President), V.S. Anil Prasad (Secretary), and G. Radhakrishnan (Treasurer). During the session, residents actively participated in discussions, raised questions about diabetes prevention, and received clear, insightful answers from the experts. Held on November 2, 2024, at 3:00 PM, this initiative underscored the collective responsibility of creating a healthier community and preventing the spread of diabetes. |
